Bag Salad

Bag Salad, One bag, a couple of shakes – an abundance of crunch & flavour!

This is the ultimate crunchy bag salad recipe, ready in less than 10 minutes 😍

You will need:
  • Supa Mama® Large Freezer Bag
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage and carrot
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup neutral oil, such as grapeseed or canola
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Black sesame seeds, optional garnish
Instructions:
  1. Place cabbage and carrot in your Supa Mama® Large Freezer Bag.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and shake well. The dressing should coat all the cabbage and carrot.
  3. When you are ready to serve place the contents of the bag into a bowl and garnish with sesame seeds.
Storage Tips:
  • You can store the bag in the fridge for up to 2 days. Note that the vegetables may lose some of their crunch as they will become pickled from the vinegar.
