Supa Mama Star Baker Showdown 2024 – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 The Supa Mama Star Baker Showdown 2024 (“Competition”) is organized by Verigreen (Pty) Ltd. (“Organizer”).

1.2 By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Competition is open to legal residents of South Africa who are aged 16 years or older at the time of entry.

2.2 Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer, its affiliates, or any person associated/involved with the Competition, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Entry

3.1 The Competition begins on 1 August 2024 and ends on 31 August 2024.

3.2 To enter the Competition, participants must:

• Follow Supa Mama on Instagram (@SupaMama_sa), Facebook (@SupaMama), or TikTok (@SupaMama_sa).
• Create a VIDEO/REEL on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok showcasing their favourite SWEET or SAVORY baked dish.
• Include at least ONE Supa Mama product in the video.
• Post and tag Supa Mama in the caption with the hashtag #SupaMamaStarBaker24.

3.3 Participants may enter multiple times, but each entry must feature a different baked dish.

4. Judging and Selection of Winners

4.1 The judging panel will consist of the guest judge Teresa Ulyate, along with representatives from Supa Mama.

4.2 Entries will be judged based on creativity, presentation, use of Supa Mama products, and overall appeal.

4.3 Judging will take place on 1 September 2024, and winners will be announced on 13-14 September 2024.

5. Prizes

5.1 The prizes for the Competition are as follows:

• 1st Place: R3,000 cash, a hamper of Supa Mama products, and a copy of “Cupcakes & Couscous, from my kitchen to yours” by Teresa Ulyate.
• 2nd Place: R2,000 cash and a hamper of Supa Mama products.
• 3rd Place: A hamper of Supa Mama products.

5.2 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other item.

6. Notification of Winners

6.1 Winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

6.2 Winners must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time frame will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Use of Entries

7.1 By entering the Competition, participants grant the Organizer the right to use their entries (including videos, images, and text) for promotional purposes on the Organizer’s social media channels, website, and other marketing materials, without further compensation.

8. General

8.1 The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time, without prior notice.

8.2 The Organizer is not responsible for any technical difficulties or issues that may affect the entry process or the ability to participate in the Competition.

8.3 The Organizer’s decision on all matters related to the Competition is final and binding.

8.4 By entering the Competition, participants agree to the Organizer’s Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of their personal information for the purposes of the Competition.
