Baked Camembert

This baked camembert recipe is supa easy, supa quick and supa delicious. It is a guaranteed crowd pleaser with all ages and is perfect for any get together!

Baked Camembert

Prep time: 5 to 10 minutes

Oven time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4 to 5 people

You will need:

  • Supa Mama® heavy duty aluminium foil
  • 1 camembert cheese
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • A few sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Drizzle of balsamic reduction
  • Salt & pepper to taste 

How To:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Lay a sheet of heavy duty foil out and place your camembert cheese in the middle.
  3. Score the top of your cheese (cut thin slits in the skin of the cheese in a grid, as if you were playing noughts and crosses).
  4. Lay sliced onion on and around the cheese, sprinkle with fresh thyme, drizzle with balsamic and season.
  5. Cover up the cheese with the foil and place it on a baking tray in the oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove your baked camembert from the oven and serve with crispy bread sticks or crackers. 

Storage: No need – this one will be devoured in minutes!
