I always love a “braai broodjie” as a side at a braai. This Heritage Day, why not upgrade this traditional accompaniment with these mouth-watering braai baguettes?
To Make:
Simply slice and fill a quality baguette with any of the following combinations (or create your own SUPA combinations):
- Sweet baguette: Apple, walnuts and brie
- Spicy baguette: Mozzarella, jalapenos, olives and salsa
- Brush your filled baguette with melted butter and wrap in my beautifully embossed foil to seal in all the flavours.
- Braai until the cheese is melted and the baguette is crispy.
- Slice and serve directly from my foil – not only does it make for beautiful, mess-free presentation, it will also keep your baguette warm!
