No electric steamer? No problem! Steam your vegetables

Did you know that water is the enemy when it comes to nutrient loss during cooking? That’s why it’s best to steam your vegetables to preserve their nutrients.


If you do not have a steamer:

  1. Simply add water in a pot and add scrunched-up golf-sized balls of Supa Mama® foil into the water.
  2. Carefully place a plate or saucer of veggies on top of the foil balls so that it remains suspended above water, and cover with a lid.
  3. Allow your veggies to steam until cooked.
