Crispy Baked Chicken!

The secret ingredient to crispy baked chicken … MAYO!

You will need:

Supa Mama® baking paper

Supa Mama® freezer bag

500g chicken breasts

½ cup mayonnaise

½ egg

100g Crushed cornflakes

Seasoning

 

To make:

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a sheet pant with Supa Mama® baking paper.
  2. Place your mayo and egg in your freezer bag, seal and give it a squish around so it is all incorporated.
  3. Cut your chicken pieces into small and thin strips or pound them into a thin, even thickness.
  4. Coat them in an egg-mayo mixture by placing them in the bag and moving them around to ensure they are well coated.

  1. Remove the chicken pieces form the bag and coat them in your seasoned cornflakes. I crush my cornflakes in another Supa Mama® freezer bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Place your coated crispy baked chicken on your baking paper and bake in your preheated oven for 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness of your pieces.

 

SUPA TIP: You can substitute cornflakes with breadcrumbs or blended crackers or pretzels too.
