Upcycled Tin Can Herb Planters
Save your next tin from the recycling bin and upcycle it into a beautiful herb planters!
To make the planter, you will need:
- An empty, clean and dry can (ensure there are no sharp edges)
- A wire cutter
- A pair of household scissors
- Industrial-strength glue
- Spray paint in a colour of your choice
- Several pinecones (dependent on the size of your can)
To make:
- Remove the pine tips from the bottom of the pine cone (working your way up) using wire cutters.
- Once removed, trim the tips neatly using your scissors.
- Glue the pine tips into place, being careful not to leave any spaces.
- Once the glue is set, spray paint your can with a couple of coats.
- Finally, once the planter is dry, you can go ahead and plant your favourite Herbs!
SUPA-TIP: Herbs that do well indoors in low light are Chives, Mint and Parsley and will add SUPA flavour to your Culinary creations!
